If you are looking for a hideout from the city and the tourist crowds, yet within easy reach to  Chania’s activities and attractions, the location of our traditional guesthouses at the Metohi Kindelis is most convenient. The villas are located just 3km from the historic center of Chania town and a 10min drive from the surrounding sandy beaches of Crete.

Sights as the famous Samaria Gorge, the Minoan Palace of Knossos, the fascinating Falasarna beach, the villages of the White Mountains and the rugged beaches of the South, are all places you can visit on a day’s tour from our Crete farmhouse. 

The nearest airport to reach Metohi Kindelis is Souda (code CHQ), located 18km away from our traditional boutique hotel. This international airport serves several daily flights from Athens as well as plenty direct charter flights from all over Europe. Heraklion airport (code HER),  is also about 2 hours drive away.

Metohi Kindelis also has easy accessibility to the town’s hospital, pharmacies, super markets and several taverns of Mournies or Perivolia  at just a distance of about 1.5km.
