Metohi Kindelis has been for this past year a safe and peaceful retreat for our family and the few guests who visited.
The farm provides a perfect setting to feel calm and carefree, surrounded by trees and flowers.
The three guesthouses have been created in a way that will make the guests feel intimate and independent, almost like they would in their own holiday home, with the addition of some hotel comforts.
Therefore during your stay you can choose to hide in the privacy of your garden, enjoy reading by the pool, dining on your terrace and interact very little if at all with us.
As usual our fresh produce will be stocked in your kitchen prior to your arrival for the preparation of your breakfast and refreshed according to your wishes.
We have received the official National training for the hospitality hygienic protocols and have adapted our practices to the required regulations although that meant to sacrifice our green cleaning practices.
Check in is only allowed after 15.00 and check out is at 11.00 am to ensure there is sufficient time to deep clean the rooms for new guests.
Enhanced cleaning and disinfection protocols are used to clean guest rooms including steam cleaners for the disinfection of fabric surfaces such us sofas and curtains.
The frequency of the housekeeping and turndown service is at our guests’ discretion.
The linen change is performed upon request.
Hand sanitiser will be available in the entrance of the guesthouse.
There is no reception at Metohi Kindelis, so we welcome you outside in the yard and show you in your room respecting the mandatory distances.
We are required to gather all the guests passport details (even for children and babies) for the check-in that you can email to us prior to the arrival along with one phone number, if you wish to make the process smoother.
We provide you with our personal guide with plenty of ideas on things to do, see and eat but if you prefer we can also sit outside, in distance, and spot a few ideas on the map.
Throughout your stay we are always available through texting for anything you might need wether that is a bottle of wine, a beach recommendation or help ordering in from a taverna.
We love to share our small universe, to see other people unwind and appreciate our home like we do, thus ensuring a safe environment is essential for us.
We hope you can make it to Crete and enjoy some relaxing time after the past difficult months.
